Interview with Justin Francis of Responsible Travel.
Justin Francis of Responsible Travel gave an interview to Phocuswire where he shared his experience and thoughts on ecology and sustainable travel.
During the interview Justin Francis touched topics of responsibility, overtourism, ecology and challenges associated with CO2 emissions from the aviation industry. According to Justin, by 2050 the world will receive aircrafts operating on renewable energy sources, however, the development and research need financing. Yet it is a sore point of the entire technological tourism industry.
In addition, Justin proposes to tax tourists at the place of stay, because they use the infrastructure of destinations on a par with local residents, but do not pay for it.
