Sample report on the research of small tourism businesses on the internet – 2023

Location of the research

This mini-research assessed the publicly available internet core metrics and apparent state of internet marketing for randomly selected 100 tourism businesses in Kazakhstan. The sample contains small touristic businesses and reflects the nature of common mistakes made by touristic organizations in Kazakhstan.

What parameters have been investigated

Firstly, we studied the main indicators of the websites of selected organizations. Secondly, we evaluated at the content parameters and usage of analytics. Thirdly, we looked at the presence of selected businesses in geoservices. Finally, we analyzed the activity of the businesses in the most popular social networks.

Report content

The report contains collected data, presented in figures, as of June 1, 2023. It also provides a brief analysis of this data, as well as recommendations for all travel businesses to improve their online experience.
