European Tourism Day 2020

European Tourism Day is an annual event. The themes are selected on the basis of current EU tourism policy priorities. This year’s conference will focus on tourism and the EU climate and sustainable development goals, under the general theme: ‘European tourism – leading to a greener future’.
In addition, this year’s European Tourism Day will host the award ceremony for the 2019 EDEN – European Destinations of Excellence edition on ‘Health and wellbeing tourism’.
Please note that in line with Commission guidelines on public events, due to the coronavirus – Covid-19 outbreak, this event has been postponed. The new date will be communicated at a later stage.
