Currently, the tourism industry is in severe crisis, and everyone seeks for solutions and opportunities. The Forward_ community was founded to identify the place and role of tourism in a fast-paced world. They want to create a platform for discussion where professionals in the field of tourism and related industries could identify challenges and opportunities to help develop the industry now and in the future. The main mission of Forward_ is to turn today’s tourism into a unique, authentic experience, as well as to be sustainable and respecting local cultures and communities.
In April 2020, the community hosted the Forward_live series of online events, where participants shared global perspectives and a global vision of the tourism industry. During the events, experts discussed topics such as the future of tourism destinations and DMOs, the future of hospitality, the future of travel media, the future of travel trade shows and the future of digital travel marketing.
