Moscow Travel Hack

The final of the world’s first hackathon on the digitalization of the tourism industry took place in Moscow on 9th February. Teams with readymade projects in the relevant areas offered their solutions to the partners, including Facebook and the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and presented them separately at the hackathon. Jury selected the winning team, who shared a cash prize. Unfortunately, the article said nothing about winners and their projects.

In our opinion, such events have a positive impact on the travel industry, as thanks to them tourism gets new technologies.  Also, we are glad that museums take part in such events and looking for smart solutions. Every day, more museums understand that smart technologies could help them to attract visitors: they launch audio guides, virtual tours etc. All in all, it makes more comfortable service for tourists.
