During a month, Scotland’s tourism industry comes together to host a variety of sectoral, destination and business events under the Scottish Tourism Month banner. The aim of the event is to engage, connect and inspire all of Scotland’s tourism businesses and organizations, and to celebrate the enormous contribution of the tourism industry to Scotland’s economy. In our opinion, local events are very helpful in developing the national tourism. It helps to encourage collaboration and networking between local tourism organizations, to communicate the key messages around the National Tourism Strategy. We would like more countries have this type of events.
