Smart Tourism in Singapore
CES is the world’s largest consumer electronics exhibition, annually held in the United States since 1967. The CES Government technology sector summit is held as part of the main exhibition and gathers leading experts in the field of government technologies who discuss problems, find innovative solutions and demonstrate technologies that determine our future.
We would like to bring to your attention the speech of one of the CES Government 2019 participants – Choon Yang Quek (STB Chief Technology Officer) from Singapore. He talks about Singapore’s innovation policy in tourism, particularly, about creating a digital ecosystem, working with insights, and providing tourists an access to high-quality content in real time. He also describes specific measures and technologies that Singapore tourism authorities have already applied.
